Change log

  • Fixed: Runtime error when phpinfo() function is disabled by host.

Details

This is a minor but very important bug-fix release. This is to fix issues associated with disabled phpinfo() function in some hosts.

Some hosting companies disabled this function for security reasons. However older versions of Prime Mover uses this function in a lot of ways such as generating the migration log, compatibility checks during during export and restore, package management, etc.

When phpinfo() is disabled – runtime fatal error occurred and the package cannot be completely restored or created. There is no workaround except to completely fix this issue inside the plugin.

A compatibility fix is now added starting version 1.8.1. If you are getting these errors in your log – it is highly recommended to upgrade to the latest version as soon as you have it.

This release should not affect hosting companies that allows the usage of phpinfo() – it should continue to work normally.

What is coming?

Development team is currently working on automated export / backup support available in PRO versions. This can take some time and the development/testing is ongoing. This is a long term development project that might take several weeks.

There will still be maintenance / minor updates to address some important bugs that needs to be fixed as soon as possible. It is usually scheduled around 2 times a month or at least once in a month update.
