Problem

You attempted to update the plugin to the latest version but encountered an error. Examples of such errors include 403 Forbidden errors, server or hosting upload limitations, and any errors related to Freemius data.

Cause of this issue

This usually occurs because your site has corrupted data. Other plugins may be blocking the update. It could be caused by hosting or server restrictions.

Solution

  • Deactivate all versions of the Prime Mover plugin on your site.
  • Delete all old versions of the Prime Mover plugin in your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  • Temporarily deactivate your license from inside your Freemius account.
  • [OPTIONAL] Reset your Freemius licensing data by following these procedures. This step is optional only if you are encountering Freemius-related errors or are unable to access your account page (Prime Mover PRO -> Account).
  • You can download the latest version of the Prime Mover PRO plugin from inside your Freemius account and save it to your desktop.
  • Reinstall the plugin on your site by navigating to Plugins -> Add Plugins. If you are unable to upload because your server’s upload limits are exceeded, please refer to this workaround.
  • Re-activate Prime Mover PRO on your site. (network activate if multisite).
  • Re-enter the license key in your selected site.
  • Done. You successfully upgraded your Prime Mover PRO to the latest version.
